This accord smells like actual dark fruit rather than candy—deep and slightly tart, with a richness that lingers way longer than I expected. I've been blending it into a warm amber base and it holds its own without turning syrupy. Exactly the moody pomegranate note I was after.

The dark pomegranate here is genuinely tart and syrupy, not the candy-sweet version I was expecting. Layered it under a rose accord and it gave the blend this moody depth that lasted most of the evening.

I was worried a fragrance oil might turn soapy on my skin, but this dark pomegranate accord stays rich and slightly tart for hours. A single drop on my wrist is enough, and it layers beautifully with my usual vanilla musk.
