Bob Marley, Kingston, Jamaica, 1978

I love how the stark black-and-white tones capture the raw energy of that historic 1978 concert. The concert date and location printed right on the photo make it feel like a genuine piece of music history.

The grain in this print adds so much texture to Bob's performance, it feels like you're right there in Kingston. I hung it above my desk and catch myself staring at the energy in that 1978 crowd.

The lighting in this shot really brings out the intensity of his performance, and the historical weight of the 1978 concert comes through. It’s a powerful piece that makes me feel like I’m right there in the crowd.
