Bruce Springsteen, 1978

The way Goldsmith froze that raw, mid-performance energy is unreal — you can almost hear the crowd noise. Printed on heavy stock, it feels like a proper piece of music history. I've got it framed above my desk and keep catching myself staring at it mid-workday.

The grain in the photo really captures the raw energy of that 1978 era. I've been looking for a portrait that felt true to that time, and Lynn Goldsmith's work here is exactly what I wanted. It's already up on my wall and I keep stopping to look at it.
