My old opener left a jagged lid I could barely pry off. This one just sits on top of the can and the twist top does the work, no squeezing handles for five minutes. Lid comes off clean every time.
I was skeptical about a can opener with no handles, but twisting the top really does start the cut and it glides around the lid on its own. It's tiny enough to toss in a drawer and I don't miss the old bulky one at all.
The lack of handles means it barely takes up any drawer space, and it slices through the lid cleanly with just a simple twist. I was skeptical about the automatic cutting at first, but it’s genuinely effortless even for someone with weak wrists.
