This is my third piece of furniture with this Cognac shade and the reddish undertones still surprise me every time it catches the light. It goes on creamy and covers well, but you really need two coats to get that warm, earthy depth the description promises.

The color depth is exactly what I was hoping for—that reddish undertone in the Cognac makes the wood grain pop without looking muddy. Applied two coats and it dried to a smooth, matte finish that feels chalky to the touch.

Used this on a side table for the lakehouse project and the reddish undertones really pop in natural light. Coverage was solid with two coats and the finish has that beautiful matte, vintage feel I was after.
