月亮暗面

The salt flats look almost liquid under that lunar glow, and the 4 a.m. effort really paid off in the detail of the cracked earth. It’s framed perfectly on my wall, and every time I look at it, I feel that same quiet intensity from that morning.

I hiked out to the salt flats at 4:00A hoping the full moon would show up, and it absolutely delivered. The way the lunar light spills across Death Valley in this shot makes the early alarm worth it.

The way the moonlight illuminates the salt flats in this print is exactly what I was hoping to capture myself. My only minor wish is that the frame options had a slightly wider mat to really let the image breathe.
