Dave Matthews Band, NYC, 1994

I've seen a lot of early DMB photos, but this one from the Meat Packing district really stands out—the gritty summer vibe comes through perfectly. Sam Erickson's first professional shoot with them clearly captured something special. It's already framed and hanging in my office.

Nice shot of the band that captures the Meat Packing District vibe, but the image quality on the print is a bit softer than I expected for a professional promo photo from that era. It's a solid piece for a fan of early Dave Matthews, just not the crispest reproduction I've seen.
