The acid-etched armor pattern on the barrel is way more detailed in person than I expected, you can actually feel the texture under your thumb. It's a rollerball so it glides smooth, and the armadillo theme is just plain fun without being cheesy.

Picked this up at the pen show and the armadillo armor texture is way more detailed than photos show. It's a rollerball, so it glides smooth, and the weight feels solid without being heavy in my hand. Fun little collectible that actually writes well.

The acid-etched armadillo armor pattern wraps the whole barrel and feels slightly textured under my thumb, which I didn't expect from a rollerball. It's a fun little pen for jotting notes at my desk, and the rollerball tip glides way smoother than the cheap pens I usually grab.
