Elton John，Sundown Theatre，Edmonton，

—— Barrie Wentzell

The print captures that raw 1973 energy perfectly, and the warm stage lighting really makes Elton's sequins pop. It arrived well-packaged and the paper quality feels archival, just as I'd hoped for a piece of music history.

The lighting Bryan Forbes captured makes this feel more like a film still than a typical concert shot. You can see the sweat on Elton's brow as he works through that early set. A perfect slice of 1973.

You can really see the extra care in the stage lighting from the film crew, which makes the print feel alive. The detail in Elton’s expression during “Crocodile Rock” is captured perfectly. It’s a wonderful piece for any fan of that era.
