Everyday Bucket Hat (Crochet)

This little hat worked up in just an afternoon, perfect for a last-minute project. The open weave lets enough breeze through for a hot day. I've worn it twice already and it keeps the sun off my face.

The tape yarn gives it such a clean, structured look that crochet hats usually don't have, and the 5mm hook made the brim nice and firm. Took me one evening spread over two days to finish, which was about what I expected. Only wish the pattern included a couple more size options for kids.
