The drainage holes are a lifesaver—my last planter turned into a swamp, but this one keeps the soil just right. The fiber cement feels surprisingly sturdy for the weight, and it’s already holding up to a week of rain on my porch.

I was nervous about fiber cement cracking, but this planter feels surprisingly solid and the texture gives it that utilitarian look I wanted. The drainage holes are placed well and my leafy baby is thriving without any soggy soil issues.
