The handle’s grip is just right, making it easy to keep tension on the dubbing even with slick materials. I’ve used it on a few nymph patterns already and the control is noticeably better than my old homemade tool.
I've tied everything from tiny midges to fat streamers with this spinner and the dubbing comes out tight and even every time. The control you get while shaping the noodle is way better than hand-rolling, and my flies hold together through a full day on the water.
Tied a batch of size 18 midges last night and the dubbing finally stayed tight instead of unraveling after a few casts. The spinner gives me way more control over how dense the body ends up, which matters on small patterns. My only regret is not picking one up sooner.
