These little houses are the cutest thing to set out on the kitchen counter. I filled each one with a different chocolate for the kids, and they're actually sturdy enough to hold the treats without collapsing. The countdown is so much more fun than just opening a cardboard door.

My kids are obsessed with counting down the days, and popping these gingerbread houses together took us an entire fun afternoon. The houses popped up easily enough, though a couple of the roof pieces needed a bit of extra pressing to stay in place. Filling them with mini candy canes and chocolate coins each evening has made the countdown genuinely fun.
