拍攝完美的白楊樹照片看似容易，但要找到樹幹筆直、色彩繽紛的完美白楊樹，一直是我最大的挑戰之一。我也想要有深度，營造隧道效果，引導視線進入畫面。我還需要陰天，光線變化，讓照片有良好的氛圍。
連續12天，我想我幾乎看遍了科羅拉多州每一棵白樺樹！最後，我覺得這片樹叢感覺對了。那是一個清爽的秋日陰天早晨，森林地面的氣味充滿我的肺，樹木靜默佇立。我知道我拍到了終極的白楊樹照片。
The white trunks standing straight against that fall color are exactly what I've been trying to capture in Aspen for years and never quite managed. The depth in the print makes it feel like you could walk right into the trees.
The tunnel effect in this print pulls me straight down the path between those white trunks, and the orange canopy above feels like it's glowing. I've tried shooting this exact scene myself in Aspen and never got the depth right, so having it on my wall is honestly a relief.
I've spent three seasons hunting for that perfect line of white trunks with autumn color, and this finally delivers the depth I couldn't achieve in person. The composition pulls your eye straight through the grove, just like being there.
