The acetate has a nice weight to it, not flimsy plastic like the drugstore ones I've been replacing every few months. It grips my thick hair without sliding and the cloud shape is subtle enough for work.

The clip holds my fine hair okay but the 2 inch size is smaller than I pictured, so it slips a bit when I wear it half-up. Pretty color though, and the acetate feels sturdy enough for the price.
