The colors in this print are unreal — it captures the layered reds and purples of the South Rim at sunset way better than anything I ever got on film. Hung it above the couch and it's the first thing guests comment on.
After years of my own hazy rim shots, this print finally shows the canyon the way it actually feels standing there. The layered reds and purples hold up even up close, and the paper has a nice weight with no glare under my hallway light.
I've shot the South Rim dozens of times myself, but this image captures that impossible scale and layered light better than any of my own prints ever did. The print quality holds every subtle shadow in the canyon walls beautifully.
