HOLLYHOCKS Velvet - Autumn

Made curtains for my dining room with this and the velvet has a lovely soft pile that catches light. The white and yellow blooms against the deep autumn background look almost painted. Genuinely gorgeous fabric.

I used this to reupholster a small reading chair and the velvet has such a nice dense pile—the yellow blooms really do look luminous against the dark background. It sewed up easily on my machine without slipping, and the texture feels way richer than the price suggested.

The autumn background makes the white and yellow blooms really pop, and the fabric has this soft sheen that shifts depending on the light. I used it for throw pillows in my living room and the texture feels surprisingly plush for the price.
