I've had this print hanging above my desk for a month now, and the way the morning light bleeds across the snow-covered peaks still stops me mid-sentence. You can tell it came from someone who waited out a Colorado winter instead of just snapping a quick shot.
The way the dawn light hits those Telluride peaks makes the whole room feel colder and brighter at once. I've stared at it for a week now and still catch new detail in the snow shadows.
That cold Colorado light in this piece is unreal—the way it catches the ridgelines makes me feel like I'm standing right there in the snow. I've had it up for a month and still catch myself staring at the shadows between the peaks every morning.
