Jackson Hole Fly Fishing School, WY

By the third morning I could read the water and place a cast where I wanted, which says a lot for the pacing of the instruction. The guides timed each session perfectly around the hatch, and the scenery alone was worth the trip.

The instructors were patient and broke down the casting into simple steps, and by the end of the day I was actually landing flies on a seam. The location on the Snake River is just gorgeous, making the whole experience feel like a vacation. I’m already planning a trip back next year.

I’ve always struggled with casting accuracy, but the expert instruction here finally helped me get a decent drift in the current. Fishing the Snake River’s spring creeks afterward was incredible.
