James Brown, Broadway Jump, June, 1979

The contrast in this black-and-white print really makes James Brown's movement pop off the wall. I love how it captures that specific June 1979 Broadway moment, like the energy is still alive. It’s now the focal point of my living room.

I framed this shot of James Brown mid-leap and it instantly became the focal point of my living room. The black-and-white tones really emphasize the raw energy from that 1979 Broadway performance.

The way this photo captures the split-second energy of his jump mid-performance is incredible. The black-and-white tones give it a timeless, gritty feel that makes it look like it could have been taken yesterday. It's already the focal point of my living room wall.
