The Orvis endorsement alone told me he’s legit, but what really stood out was how he adapted each lesson to my skill level without any ego. I left Leverett feeling like I’d finally cracked the basics of casting, and the river time flew by.

Jay is incredibly patient and knowledgeable, especially when helping a beginner like me get the hang of casting. His guidance made the whole day on the water feel effortless, and we actually landed several nice trout.

The Orvis-Endorsed badge on his profile is what convinced me to book, and it was justified—his knowledge of the local waters in Leverett really showed on the water. Only wish the trip had been a full day instead of a half, but that's on me for my schedule.
