Joni Mitchell, Lake Mendota, WI, 1976

The grain of the black-and-white print really makes Joni’s skates and the snow on the lake pop. It captures a quiet, personal side of her I hadn’t seen before—a welcome addition to my music photography collection.

That frozen-in-time moment on the ice is so perfectly preserved you can almost feel the cold Wisconsin air. The archival quality of the print makes the texture of the skating rink and her movement feel incredibly sharp and intimate.

The grain of the print captures that cold Wisconsin winter light perfectly, making her movement on the ice feel alive. It arrived well-packaged and looks exactly as described, a great piece for any music fan.
