Still working through my stash and this yarn holds up beautifully for beginner projects—the texture is forgiving when I mess up a stitch, and it frogged cleanly three times without fraying. Wish I'd stocked up before it vanished, but at least the pattern guides still make sense with what I have left

Glad I stocked up on this when I did—the self-striping pattern takes all the guesswork out of color changes. It's a bit scratchier than premium acrylics, but for the price back then, it was a steal for blankets.

It's a real bummer this yarn is discontinued, because the color pattern worked up beautifully in my scarf. The only thing holding back a full five stars is that I can't buy more to finish a matching hat.
