日本香堂 伽羅 沉香

The burn time is spot on—about 25 minutes of that deep, resinous aloeswood richness that fills the room without ever feeling sharp. I lit one after dinner and the wavering smoke made the whole space feel calmer. The sticks are slender but hold their scent well to the very last ember.

The smoke curls up in this slow, almost hypnotic way, and the aloeswood is deep without being sharp—my whole hallway smells calm for a good half hour after one stick burns out. I've already gone through half the box in a week because I keep lighting another one the second it fades.

Each stick burns a full 25 minutes, which is perfect for settling into an evening. The aloeswood is deep and refined without being sharp, and the smoke has a nice gentle waver that feels calming. I've already gone through half the box.
