Keith Richards, The Rolling Stones, 1981

The way he’s caught mid-thought backstage, guitar in hand, is so intimate it feels like a stolen moment. The black-and-white tones bring out every line in his face and the quiet tension before the show. It’s been up on my wall for a week and I catch myself staring every time.

The grain in the photograph feels very authentic, capturing the backstage mood perfectly. It’s a piece that makes you pause and really look at Keith’s concentration. Definitely glad I added it to my collection.
