Took this out after a fresh snowfall and the air-cushioned ride really does feel softer than the hard plastic sleds we've used before. Even the adults took turns on it down the hill, and the grooved base kept it tracking straight without spinning out.

Bought two of these for my kids and the grooved rubber base grips the packed snow way better than our old plastic saucers—no more spinning out mid-hill. Both shipped together on Friday like the listing said, which was perfect for the weekend storm.

The air-cushioned ride is genuinely soft, so my kids don’t complain about their tailbones after an hour of runs. The grooved base slides smoothly over packed snow and grips enough on the turns to keep them in control, which has made this the most-used sled in our garage this winter.
