KISS, Gene Simmons, 1977

The contrast in this print is just perfect—the deep shadows make the studded collar really pop. I've had it up on my wall for a week and keep finding myself stopping to look at those intense, smoky eyes. It's exactly the kind of bold portrait that captures the raw energy of that era.

The fire in Gene’s eyes is even more intense in person—Lynn Goldsmith really captured that 1977 raw energy perfectly. The print quality is sharp and the blacks are deep, making it the centerpiece of my music wall.

I was hoping for a bit more sharpness in the details, but the overall mood and energy from Gene Simmons really comes through in this portrait. It’s a solid piece of music history for any KISS fan.
