The bare metal grip gives it such a solid, weighty feel in hand—really sells the authenticity. I chose the Round Imperial Cog tsuba and the intricate design catches the light beautifully.
Went with the Hexagon Imperial Cog tsuba and it looks sharp in person, way better than the plain round guard I almost picked. The grip stays solid during longer swings, though it took a minute to get used to since there's no textured wrap. Solid balance overall for the price.
The bare metal grip feels way better in hand than I expected, no slipping even during longer spins. I went with the Hexagon Imperial Cog tsuba and the detailing is crisp in person. Just know going in that you can't swap the electronics later, which is fine by me.
