Leonard Cohen, 1974

The way Wentzell captured Cohen mid-thought is almost haunting, and the print's dark tones really pull you into that 1974 moment. It's hung in my study and I keep catching myself staring at it instead of working, which is probably a good sign.

The grain and shadow work in this print really capture that quiet, mid-thought moment from 1974—it feels like you're in the room with him. I've had it up for two weeks and still catch myself staring at the way the light falls across his face.
