The wood is smooth but not too slippery, so my stitches stay where I put them. These size 13s work perfectly with bulky yarn for a quick scarf project.

The wood is just grippy enough that my stitches don’t slide off mid-row, which is huge for me when I’m knitting while watching TV. These size 13s feel solid and smooth in my hands, and the 12.75-inch length is perfect for a straight-needle project.

The wood has a nice, warm feel in my hands and definitely grips the yarn better than my old metal needles. I’ve been using them with a chunkier wool blend, and they glide smoothly enough. Only wish the points were a tiny bit sharper for tighter stitches.
