Mama Sita’s 素食蠔油 423ml

This bottle lasted me through months of stir-fries and veggie lumpia, and the savory depth it adds is spot on. The 423ml size is generous, and I love that I get that classic oyster sauce kick without any actual oysters in it.

Cooking adobo and sinigang without fish sauce always felt lacking, but this vegetarian oyster sauce gives that same savory depth. The 423ml bottle lasts a long time, and it’s my go-to for tofu stir-fries.

The bottle is a decent size for the price and the sauce has that savory umami kick I was hoping for in my vegetable stir-fry. Took off one star because the consistency is a bit thinner than regular oyster sauce, so I had to add a little cornstarch to get it to cling properly.
