The clip stays put even in fine hair, and the 5 3/4 inch size is perfect for a mid-pony or a half-up style. That single-layer velvet is so light it almost feels like nothing’s there, but the iridescent glow catches light in the nicest way.

The velvet has a lovely iridescent sheen that catches the light nicely, and the alligator clip feels secure in fine hair. I just wish the clip was on the left side instead of the right, but otherwise it's a charming little barrette.
