Mission Full Spey 飛蠅竿

Took it out on a windy day when my usual switch rod was struggling, and this full-length Spey handled the drift without a hitch. The power delivery feels smooth but you can still feel the loading through the blank. Worth every penny for anyone fishing varied conditions.

The casting is effortlessly smooth, and the rod loads deep even with shorter heads—perfect for varied water conditions. I’ve already landed two nice steelhead with it, and the fight control is impressive. A solid upgrade from my previous two-handed rod.

I was skeptical about the power claims, but the accuracy even in choppy currents surprised me on my first outing. It cast smoothly without tiring my shoulder, and the rod responded exactly as needed for mid-sized salmon.
