Neil Young, Aluminum Print, CA, 2007

The aluminum print gives Neil’s portrait such a crisp, almost sculptural depth—it feels like he’s right in the room. This really pops on my wall with natural light hitting the metallic surface.

The black-and-white finish really captures that raw, classic feel of his California session—the grain and contrast are spot on. I’ve got it hung in my study and I keep catching myself staring at it instead of working. It’s exactly the kind of piece that makes a room feel lived-in and real.
