The grain on these servers is gorgeous—each one looks completely unique in person. They're definitely hard and durable as described, though I wish the set came with a storage pouch to keep them from getting scratched in the drawer. Still, they handle a big tossed salad effortlessly.

The wood feels solid and well-balanced in hand, and the carving on the handles is clean, but they're a bit heavier than I expected for tossing a big salad. They work fine for serving, though I wish the finish was a touch smoother around the edges.
