Tied this on right before hitting the water and it looked so buggy I almost kept it in the box as a display piece. The craftsmanship is spot-on, and having it ready to fish straight from the package saved me a solid half-hour at the vise.

The hook eye is perfectly aligned, so threading the tippet took no effort at all. It’s held up through a few aggressive strikes without unraveling, which is exactly what I need for a reliable shrimp pattern.

The hook point held up well even after a few snags on the rocky bottom, and the pattern looks buggy enough to fool picky trout. Only downside is the thread wraps feel a bit loose on one fly, but it's still fishable.
