Outkast, Atlanta, GA, 1993

That shot of them in the car feels so candid and real, it’s like you’re right there in 1993 with them. The black-and-white print really brings out the texture and mood of the moment.

The way the light falls across their faces in that car window makes it feel like you’re right there in the backseat with them, frozen in 1993. I’ve stared at it for ten minutes straight and keep noticing new little details.

The candid shot of them inside that car feels so authentic—you can almost hear the conversation they were having. The black-and-white grain gives it a timeless quality that makes my Atlanta pride swell every time I look at it.
