I was a bit nervous the clip might be too small, but it holds perfectly in thick hair. The velvet catches the light in such a dreamy blue-violet, and the single-layer finish feels delicate yet sturdy. So happy with how it turned out.

The velvet has a gorgeous iridescent sheen that shifts in the light, and the hemmed edge keeps it looking polished. I clipped it onto my blazer and it stayed put all day without slipping.

The alligator clip is wonderfully sturdy, it has not slipped once in my daughter's hair. That iridescent velvet catches the light in such a pretty way, and the single-layered hem keeps it from looking bulky. I am so glad we bought this.
