The Eiffel Tower shot has this moody blue-grey sky that makes the ironwork look almost like a charcoal sketch. I hung it above my desk and the detail in the tower's lattice holds up even up close. Rare to find a Paris photo that doesn't feel like a postcard.
The permission slip behind this shot is wild when you think about it — a photographer actually got official clearance to shoot the Eiffel Tower at night. What sold me is how the deep blues hold up in a large frame, no washed-out blacks at all.
