The embroidered scalloped edges are even prettier in person, and the lined satin stitch border gives the whole set a polished, expensive feel. I've washed them twice already and they've only gotten softer, which is exactly what I hoped for from a percale.

I was a bit skeptical about percale sheets since I prefer sateen, but the lined satin stitch border gives these a really polished finish that doesn't feel stiff. They've been through a few washes already and the embroidery looks just as crisp as day one.
