干邑李子 • Scents of Wood

The plum note is juicy and dark rather than candy-sweet, and it lingers for hours on my skin. I've worn it to dinner twice and both times someone leaned in to ask what it was. The vanilla and vetiver in the drydown keep it from getting syrupy, which is exactly what I wanted.

I was worried the plum would smell like candy, but it's darker and boozier than I expected. The cinnamon and vetiver keep it from getting too sweet on my skin. Wore it to dinner and kept catching whiffs of it all night.

The rum and vanilla dry down is cozier than I expected, though the opening smells a bit sharp for the first ten minutes. After that it settles into something warm and resinous that lasts most of the workday.
