Poul Kjærholm：永恆的極簡主義

I've always admired how he bent steel into those impossibly thin frames, and this collection finally shows the stone tabletops in proper detail. The photography of the gauge and joinery is sharp enough that I noticed details I'd missed seeing them in person.

I'd only ever seen these pieces in wood before, so the chapter on his steel and stone work was a genuine revelation. The printing quality is excellent too, and it sits nicely on my coffee table without dominating the room.

I've owned a few Scandinavian design books and this is the first one that actually explains why he chose steel and stone instead of wood. The chapter on the PK22 alone made the purchase worth it.
