I was skeptical about the carrot note but it blends beautifully with the turmeric, giving it a warm, slightly earthy sweetness that lasts for hours. Perfect for when I want something cozy but not cloying.
The apricot and cake notes hit first, then that weird savory carrot and turmeric thing sneaks in and somehow it works. Wore it to a dinner and two people asked what I had on. The barley drydown is my favorite part, warm without being sugary.
I was worried the turmeric and carrot would make this smell like a vegetable drawer, but it dries down into the warmest apricot cake. The juniper keeps it from getting too sweet. Easily my most complimented scent since I bought it.
