Ramones, NYC, 1979

The raw energy of that CBGB backstage moment is perfectly preserved—you can almost hear the amps buzzing just by looking at it. Bob Gruen's signature style gives the print a gritty authenticity that makes it feel like a real piece of punk history. Really glad I grabbed this for my music room.

The grain in this print really captures that gritty CBGB vibe perfectly—you can almost hear the amps buzzing. Bob Gruen’s shot of the four of them backstage feels so candid, it’s like you’re right there in 1979. I’ve got it framed in the living room, and it’s already a conversation starter.
