Scientific Anglers Sonar 10' Leader

I’ve been using this leader on windy days and the stiffness really helps turn over heavier flies without hinging. It stays straight out of the package and holds up well all day. Definitely gives you better control on longer casts.

Finally, a leader that actually turns over on a windy day without hinging—the 10-foot taper handles the loft exactly as promised. I’ve been through three other brands and this one just performs.

The 10-foot length gives me just enough reach to mend my line without spooking the fish, and the taper turns over even bulky streamers cleanly. It's held up well through a dozen trips on the river so far.
