Scientific Anglers Spey Lite Skagit Head 飛蠅線

First time throwing a Skagit head on my trout rod and the lighter weight really shines in tight spots. Casts feel effortless even on small streams where I used to struggle with heavier gear.

The taper on this line loads up effortlessly with a short head, making casting on tight streams feel completely natural. I’ve been using it on a 4-weight and it turns over a small Skagit head beautifully without any struggle.

Took this out on a tight mountain stream and the lighter head loads up quick, which really helps in tight quarters. Only gripe is the loop-to-loop connection feels a bit bulky when you're trying to shoot line through small rod guides. Still, it turns over a size 14 soft hackle with zero effort.
