Sex Pistols, Sid Vicious, Tulsa, 1978

The grain and contrast in this Lynn Goldsmith shot are perfect for the era—raw and gritty without feeling muddy. I keep catching myself staring at the tension in his posture, it’s like the whole Tulsa night is frozen in that frame.

Had this framed above my desk and it’s a conversation starter every single time. Lynn Goldsmith really captured that raw, chaotic energy from the Tulsa show—you can almost feel the sweat and noise in the room. The print quality is sharp enough that every detail in his expression stands out.
