The alarm is loud enough that I heard it from the bedroom when my burner didn't fully light. Setup over Wi-Fi only took a few minutes, and the light indicator is handy at a glance.

Set it up next to the stove in about ten minutes and the peace of mind is worth every penny. The light alarm is what sold me — even with headphones on I can see it flashing from across the kitchen.

The siren on this thing is loud enough to hear from the basement, which is exactly what I wanted. I also like that the light alarm stays visible even when I've got headphones on in the kitchen.
