The lighting in this print is incredible—you can almost feel the smoke in that dim club. I’ve got it framed in my study and the texture of the paper really brings out the grit of 1949 New York.

I had to stop and stare at the subtle shadows in this photo—the way the light hits his saxophone really pulls you into that 1949 club atmosphere. It's now the focal point of my listening room.

The print arrived well-packaged and the fine grain of the black-and-white photo really captures that 1949 club atmosphere. I only wish the image was a bit larger on the paper, but the contrast is perfect for the dim lighting.
