Talking Heads, David Byrne, Yucatán, 1981

I hung this Lynn Goldsmith print in my living room and the contrast between the dark stage and David Byrne's intense expression is even more striking in person. It instantly transports me back to that raw 80s energy every time I walk by.

The way Goldsmith captured Byrne mid-performance, that intensity in his eyes, feels like it’s right there in the room with me. The print quality does it justice—sharp details in the shadows and highlights. It’s already my favorite piece on the wall.

The grain and contrast in this print really bring the energy of that 1981 show to life—it feels like you're right there in the crowd. I’ve got it framed in my living room and catch myself staring at it every time I walk by.
